Generating footprint, want to import pin location list

I'm generating a footprint for a cylindrical connector that has 61 pins where each pin has a specific x/y location that is not on a grid. I see that there is a command under File>Import called "CSV Pin File". I am making the assumption that by using this command I can point to a CSV file that contains the pin number and coordinate for each pin.

I'm looking for a clue as to how to set up the CSV file. When I search the "help" files I don't seem to find any info on using this command. I have searched through the help files for mayn things related to importing CSV files such as CSV Pin import, File Import CSV, Green Cows, etc....... all returned nothing useful. I have even clicked on the "help" button in the CSV Pin file input dialog box, but that just takes me to a general page of commands by letter.

I'm sure this is probably a very simple process, I just need to know the required format of data in the CSV file.

Thanks,

Tom

    Hi Tom

The csv format needs to be:-

<pin number, padstack name, x position, y position, rotation, text offset x, text offset y, text rotate, mirror>
