Never had this happen before, but I ran the netlist, and opted to start Allegro.  I statred to place components manually and noticed no rats. I checked the show rats all and still no rats.  What is going on??

Check Constraint Manager - Properties - Net Properties - General tab and look for no_rat set to On. If so clear them. Also check for Voltage properties that will change the display of rats to a square with a cross in the middle rather than point to point.

Well, stupid me.   This pcb is a board with pairs of connectors wired to each other. So after I finished placing a pair of connectors, the rats showed up!  WHEW!  Never saw this before.....

Thanks for the info on the properties.....
