Through Hole, both side routing.

Hello,

it may look stupid question but I am stuck with it.

I have a through hole connector on my 2 layer board for hight current (track width 5mm)

I would like to rout the track on both layers,  of the connector, when i tries to do that the track on one side goes away.

and i am not getting tracks on both sides.  (means singke ratnet needs to be connected from both layers)

can anyone help me with this?....

Disable (uncheck) Replace Etch under the Options tab or from the Right Mouse Button popup under the Options while you are in the Add Connect command.  This will allow you to route loops in the design without removing the duplicate etch.  Be sure to enable Replace Etch when you are done to avoid adding loops to ordinary signal nets.   Another options is to define copper shapes instead of traces to bring the power into the board from the connector. You can define the shape on one layer and use Z-Copy (Edit > Z-Copy) to copy them to additional layers.

    Hope this helps,
    Mike Catrambone
