Where are all the classes/sub classes gone for "Dimension in 16.5, 16.6" ?

Hi guys, for some reason I am unable to add dimensions to the package sub class and a whole buch of others too. Seems like the dimension classes/sub classes have been reduced to only a few classes in the current release. Was wondering is there a way to make the classes that can hold a dimension the same as existed in 16.2

Main ones I need are

Package Geometry > Assy top, Assy Bottom
Board Geometry > Assy_Detail, Assy_notes
Drawing Format > Title Block

I tried a bunch of things but cant seem to make them show up.

Thanks Scott

     Hi

You can add new subclass by Setup--->Subcalss , add the new subclass under respective Class ,Now open  Colour Dialog box (ctrl+F5)  and at the top click  Global vissibility --->ON

Dimensions can be on any of the following:-

Board Geometry - Dimension, Assembly_Notes, any user defined subclass.

Drawing Format - Any user defined subclass

Manufacturing - Any user defined subclass.

Hi Guys thanks for the help on this. I figured out what was going on. I was using parameter files from a prior ver of Orcad/Allegro and these files had the subclasses I typically use. When I imported the parameter file my layers or sub-classes show up.

By default when you start 16.5 you will have a highly limited selection of classes and subclasses if you are just using a blank board "System default" but if you load up a symbol  for example that had a user defined subclass on the Package Geometry class you will still be able to use that class/subclass going forward in the new editor.

    Works good :)

    Thanks Again Scott
