Connecting plated mounting holes to Planes

Hello, I have plated mounting holes (MTG156) in my through hole board (ORCAD PCB Designer).  I went to constraint manager and established a pin to shape spacing for all the signal nets. I have created a ground plane on the top layer and I want to connect to the plating of the mounting hole.  How can I do this so that the plating is part of the ground plane.  I have tried the padstack designer on the mounting hole but I am unable to find the right procedure.   I don't want to change any of the other through hole signal pin to shape spacing.  I just want to connect the mounting holes to the ground plane.

     Not clear based on your question

    Are the mounting holes electrical symbols in your schematic (they have at least one pin connected to a net)?

    If yes, you should be able to route to the pin.  Make sure your symbol calls out the correct padstack.

    If no, you can make the mounting holes "vias" by going into the padstack editor and making the padstack of any size you want -- then add that "via" to the via list and click on the top plane and add via at the proper locations -- choose your new via when routing.

    Thanks, the holes are not electrical symbols.  They are mechnical symbols (MTG156) that I placed from the machanical parts list under the "place manually" menu.

     Ok, mechanicals do not allow electrical connection thus the name.  See the suggestions above and it will work.
