Warnings during artwork creation, new hotfix

Ever since I updated to the latest hotfix (Release: 16.6.S017), I have been getting errors when creating silk screen gerber files.

All of my footprints have a refdes class label of zero width.  When I create the artwork, I specify all undefined line widths to be 5 (for the silk screen film).  This has worked for me since 16.3.  However, with the latest hotfix, I now get a warning message:

WARNING: text composed 0 width line found at (115.00 3530.00) ... using undefined line width of 5.00

WARNING: text having Multiple 0 width lines; all will be treated the same as the first. ... using undefined line width of 5.00

When I review the gerber file, the text is rendered correctly.  Is there any way to suppress this warning message, or is it indicative of an underlying problem?  Again, the warning message never printed for earlier versions (i.e., 16.6.S012)  of the software.

It's not an error but a Warning to say that it has found a zero line width text and it will use your undefined line width in it's place. This warning has been around for quite a while.

Steve -- thanks for the feedback.  I realize that they are just warnings, but it would be nice ot be able to suppress known warnings that I am ok with rather than check the log file after creating artwork -- even if just for illogical warm fuzzies.

While I am loath to roll back my software (i.e., uninstall the latest hotfix), I can practically guarantee that I was not receiving that warning on the exact same .brd file w/ the earlier software.  Similarly, the latest hotfix also seems to cough up a [previously unnoted] warning when using a padstack w/ a NULL for top/bottom/internal layers (i.e., for a non-plated hole).  It still creates the artwork, it just throws up a warning for each layer.

This warning message was present in earlier versions of PCB Editor (16.2 and earlier I believe), then disappeared in 16.3 and 16.5. Apparently it has made a reappearance in 16.6. You can change the "warning" to an "error" message in User Preferences>Manufacturing>Artwork, but I'm not sure why you would do that. The only way I know to suppress the warning is to assign a width to all features prior to creating artwork.
