How to line up multiple components?

BradM

I want to be able to take a group of components (i.e. connectors) and line them up on the same x - coordinate.  I can do it individually but cannot seem to get it to work correct with more than one.  Is this even possible?

Thanks!

    Hi BradM,

Get in Placement Edit mode (RMB in an open area >  Application Mode > Placement Edit).

Adjust your Find filter to include Symbols.

Select all land patterns you want to align, including the one you want the other to align to.

RMB on the land pattern you are using as your target for "X" or "Y" location

Select Align Components from the popup form.  The land patterns should align.

Once you do this you can now access the Options tab to tailor the alignment to your needs.

    Brad,

Your message indicates that you placed the connectors on the board and now you want to align them.

I would set my grid to the x coordinate I want the connectors on let's say 122.5, and set the y grid to a multiple of the y coordinate.

I would then place them where I want them to be the first time. How many connectors are we talking about?
