How to vertical how horizen mirror a pad in Allegro package symbol? How to clean design cache?

I did make a pad, however, I still want get it mirror horizen or vertical. The mirror function seems doesnot work with pad ( it only work when you mirror pin name)

So my question is how to mirror horizen or vertical of this pad?

And other quesiton is how to clean design cache?

     You cannot mirror a pad in Allegro Package.  Mirroring a pad would be like moving it to the opposite side of the board.  You can spin the pad to another orientation, and maybe that is what you are asking.  Look under Edit => Spin and in your options tab set your rotaion parameters to your requirements.

    Thanks for you answer , I need make a footprint with both direction. Do you know how to clean design cache?I know how to do it in schematic design, but does not find in allegro?

     You know you can rotate and mirror a footprint in Allegro, correct?  There should be no reason to have to build two footprints just for rotation and mirroring?

    As for your second question, I have been using Allegro for almost thirty years and have never heard of cleaning a design cache in Allego.

    Indeed, I did build two direction. But there is a cache problem. I put two direction in to symbol. It becames the same direction~no matter what change, it keeps the same direction. If I open a new symbol file, and put those two pads in, there is no problem at all. That is the reason I am trying to mirror the pad or clean cache~~ Thanks for you help

     You can try running DBDoctor.  Tools => Database Check => Check.

    We might be having a communication issue here.  Are you wanting a pad that is a mirror image of the other?  If that is the case, it will require two different padstacks.  I assume you created this pad as a shape, so you will need to create another shape that is the mirror of what you have, and use that to create another padstack.
