Snap to grid error

I had a license issue and then after getting the tool back and running every time I invoke a new command the snap to grid goeas away.

If I close the program and "move dynamic shapes" then invoke a "slide trace command" and try to "move shapes" again its off grid and I have to close to get it to work again. Ive searched a bunch here and found no help.

Best guess is you have a different Non-Etch and Etch Grid settings.   These settings are invoked by the Class and Subclass settings under the Options tab.  If you have it set to Etch/Top then the Etch Grid setting is used and if it is set to anything else it will use the Non-Etch Grid setting.

You may have the Class/Subclass set to a Non-Etch layer when you are moving the dynamic shape the first time and once you go into Slide the Class/Subclass changes to the Etch layer you are working on so when you attempt to move the dynamic shape the second time it is using the Etch Grid settings.

    Hope this helps,
    Mike

I always keep my Etch and Non Etch grids the same and change the under setup/Grids.

Its only the slide command that seems to affect this and I can route and its fine going back to editing a dynamic shape, but its only when I slide and then go back to editing a shape do I lose the snapping to grid. Its odd as it will snap to grid eventually but moving it doesn't go in grid incriments like it always has done and will do as long as I don't slide any traces.

Thanks for your response and taking the time to help me out with this issue.
