Thermals not updating

I have a dynamic positive plane on the top layer. When I go to global dynamic shape parameters and change the thermals from full contact to diagonal or orthogonal and click ok only the via get updated. How do I get the thru hole and smt thermals to update ?

That is not the probelm. Currently vias, smt pads and thru hole pads in the design are flooded over(full contact). If I change all of them to diagonal, orthogonal, or change the number of spokes   the vias change correctly and the thru hole and smt pads remain flooded over. It looks like the software has a bug in it ? If you select a shape and change the shape back the thermals then appear correct.
