Any Ways are there in Allegro for checking the Change in Part number in OrCad or in Schimatics will Reflect in ECO report.

Any Ways are there in Allegro for checking the Change in Part number in OrCad or in Schimatics will Reflect in ECO report.

     Tools - Design Compare. This will compare an xml file from rev A to rev B. You'll need to create the xml file when you import the Netlist (File - Import - Logic there's a checkbox "Create PCB XML from input data"). Once you have two xml files run the design compare and you'll see the differences between the two.

     When you run the Design Compare you can load the first xml file and compare it to the board file you have open. It won;t list the differences by part number but by device type. Red / Orange meas differences, green means there's no change. I've attached an example. If you need part number comparison then there's a free app for OrCAD Capture. Take a look at
