Error with Spice Model ATF34143

Hi

I downloaded a Spice model from Avago Technologies http://www.avagotech.com/pages/en/rf_microwave/transistors/fet/atf-34143/ but the spice model seems to be not usable.

The error message given is:

ERROR(ORPSIM-15108): Subcircuit BATF34143 used by X_U8.XDIE is undefined

The Spice Model provided is:

Is there anything wrong with the Spice model?

I would say that there is, XDIE calls a subcircuit BATF34143 but that is defined as a model, the subcircuit name that references it is actually ATF34 so the correct subcircuit call would be:

    XDIE DRAIN GATE SOURCE ATF34

See if that change will get the model to work.

If the text provided accurately reflects the modle text, the ".ENDS" statement for the ATF34 subcircuit is not at the beginning of the line. That could be an issue. Also provide some information of what message you get when running the simulation after the changes.

     Hi

It still shows the same error  message

ERROR(ORPSIM-15113): Model BATF34143 used by X_TB_U1.B1 is undefined

    Thanks

It's certainly a similar message, select the Project Manager window, and then the DSN file and use File>Archive Project to create a single file of the project and attch that to the forum so that all the data for the project can be examined to determine what the problem is.
