Annotation fails on homogeneous parts

Hello,

On Allegro Entry CIS,

I have a design with homogeneous parts inside. These parts are named U?A, U?B.

When I run an incremental annotation, the first part in the sheet is numbered (U1A and U1B) the annotation fails on the second one.

Does someone couls help me ?

 Thanks very much

Hi all,      (loosing original section assignments when annotating is my problem)

I too have run into this issue.  In the help information "working with parts" it indicates that parts need be built with " a unique property to each one"  and go on to explain that a user defined property for all part sections are required but  each group of sections packaged together (the package) need have the same Value which makes sense.   But.......if that's actually the only way to get the ref des annotation process to work it seems very counter productive.  Is there a way to avoid this extra effort and simply re-sequence  all ref des without loosing their section assignments?  Wow ! I thought that is pretty basic to capture.  I must be missing something.   Thanks in advance for any advice you may offer.
