Valor

I'm not really sure if this is the correct forum but here goes. I have been assigned the ignomius task of running Valor on all our designs. I ODB++ on a design and generate the .tgz. I import into Valor and run the design past the rule set I've created. There is one particular problem I'm having and it might be my setup. Would anyone know if I should shut off the PLACE_BOUNDARY (TOP& BOTTOM) before generating my .tgz. I'm getting errors with clines touching the boundaries. If anyone has an idea of a fix that would be great. If there is a better place to go for advice, please let me know.

Check the Artwork Film settings, the ODB++ output basically "translates" the configured films to the ODB++ output. It sounds like the "Bounds" may have become combined with the routing for output. Generating Gerber output should give you an idea if the Film Control Settings are correct, or not - check the phtoplot log after creating Artwork and see if that has any complaints within it.
