PCB editor not showing every component

 I've created a schematic in Orcad after assigning footprint to every component (which are stored in the same root directory : pcb_lib/symbols/), I performed DRC and Net-list with zero error and warnings. After opening the board with Allegro PCB editor, Only few components are available for the manual placing, I'm not able to see every component as in the schematic.

I took following steps to rectify this problprojectem
1. Rechecked every assigned footprint
2. Recreated project performed DRC, Netlist.
3. Checked every custom footprint.

But problem still exists, what should possibly be going wrong. Please Help!

    Try this check the option in the place----> placement option---->select he components by refdes---->select the component. Other option is at netlist creation, board launching option select open in the OrCAD PCB Editor.

         Thanks for the reply.

         I'm familiar with component placing, already doing the same thing, but I'm not able to see all the resistors in 'select the components by refdes' list, many of them are missing which are present in the schematic. I've checked whether its associated with the component's footprint too, Moreover, some of the resistor with the same footprint are available to be placed, so it shouldn't be a footprint problem either I guess.

        I'm not getting any warning or error regarding missing resistors.

     Try a Place - Manual then click on Hide and then single click the part in Capture and move (not click and drag) yoru mouse to PCB. The part if vaild should be attached to your mouse. If it's not look at the command line in PCB Editor for any warnings / errrors (Like padstack missing etc).
