How to hide the Pin name of the components in Allegro PCB editor

Hi,

I am using cadence 16.6 for my layout. When I am placing the components on the board, the pin numbers are visible and it is annoying me. Please inform me how I can make the pin numbers invisible on the PCB editor.

Thanks,

Gilbert

    Hi Gilbert ...

Now currently whether you using the OrCAD PCB editor 16.5, 16.6 versions, all are same.In the editor window goto-----> color dialog(crtrl+F5)---->Package Geometry---->enable the pin numbers with different color and the option  get enabled. After that you do  the below option.
Open the OrCAD/ Allegro PCB Editor. In right hand side of the editor window, find, options visibility three windows will get enabled. In case if it not get enabled means goto----->view----> window----> enable the options pane what eve you needed. In that option Package Geometry---->Pin number will be get enabled.

In case if not enabled means contact the software vendor or reinstall the OrCAD software again.

    Thanks& Regards
    Dhamodharan
