"edit properties" has two lines

I have a schematic (OrCAD Capture CIS 16.5) which includes a hierarchical block and an array of these blocks.

If "Main PCB" is the root, I highlight a part on one of the "Main PCB" pages and click on "Edit Properties", I get two lines with two different reference designators. The second line, in yellow, has the correct reference designator. Sometimes the first line's reference designator does not exist in the design or exists on another page and is a different value.

If I make the hierarchical block array page the root, highlight the same part on the same "Main PCB" page, and click on "Edit Properties", I get one line with the reference designator that was on the first line, above. The schematic also shows this reference designator.

Anybody have any idea what I did wrong and how to fix it?

Since you have "repeated" blocks, the design is in Occurrences mode and the "yellow" values contain the required values, there is nothing to "correct" since a complex hierarchical design must correctly be in Occurrences mode to work. You can transfer the Occurrences properties (yellow) to the Instances properties (white) but you are only going to get one set of properties copied over for all of the repeated blocks and this won't actually influence the "correctness" of the design. See the Capture Users Guide, cap_ug.pdf in the doc\cap_ug directory of the product installation, Basic Elements of Capture Design, "Instances and Occurrences" section.
