BOM Generation Error

In Allegro CIS, I select  Tools --> Bill of Materials...    Then when the BIll of Materials window appears I click "OK".

 

It fails and the session log only contains this:

*  Bill Of Materials
*
********************************************************************************
Performing BOM.
ERROR [EXT0011]    Unable to create the report file.
BOM Done.

 

I have searched and can find nothing on this.

     Just as quickly as I posted above, I found the solution.  In the BOM window at the bottom, it asks for a file to store the BOM.  I thouht it was just a path.....NO, it wants a file name.   Once I gave it a file name, then it worked.
