Reg:customized symbol drawing template for footprint creation as default when we invoke for new symbol creation

Dear Friends

I am using LP wizard (mentor grphics)for generating the footprint , the script built in it invoke the allegro .dra wizard to create the footprint

I want to add a custom symbol drawing template (with page size color coding for different class like silkscreen assembly line width , text size class) as default input to wizard .. mean to say that

When I generate Footprint using LP wizard the LP wizard script should consider my custom template for creating symbol .. I checked in LP wizard but felt nothing to do with LP wizard need to do some setting in allegro itself. Overall my intension is if somebody reviewing the footprints if follow the unique color coding , then by just doing the care full visulation he can make out if something missed out

[Problem I came across silk legend in black color, assembly & silk in same color ,Placebound & DFA in same color]

If anybody has same idea , came across same issues please help me by sharing info/tips.

Thanks

Best Regards
Girish Kumar

You need to contact Mentor Graphics on this issue. I could help you if you were using OrCAD Library Builder.
