Changing net on vias

Besides the traditional way to replace a via or reroute to it, does anyone know of a workaround or skill script to "assign" a net to a via much like we do with shapes?

    I have one I use for this.  Would have attached if I could figure out how to do it.

    There is one in the installation at share\pcb\examples\skill\cmds, change_net_on_vias.il but the ability to attach files to the forum does seem to be absent now, use rich formatting will allow "media insert" from computer upload but no idea if that would then be available to download!

    See attached (if it came through - I just dragged and dropped

    Place the file: "DE_changeViaNet_public.cxt" in your Skill path

    In your allegro.ilinit file add the following lines:
    loadContext("DE_changeViaNet_public.cxt")
    axlCmdRegister("chgvianet" 'CVN_changeViaNet ?cmdType "interactive")

    Type "chgvianet" in the console window to run the utility. Use the Right Mouse Button for options.

    Rob,

    I would use Dave's SKILL script if you are just wanting to change nets on vias.  It is a bit less complicated to use than the one I sent you offline.

    Im using this skill, I really like it a lot, thank you for sharing! After I change some vias to a new net I need to right click and the select done on the menu to finish the command, if I click F6 (done) it doesnt works, is this a bug related to a hotfix? is there a way to use F6 also as done?
