Dynamic Reconnect during move component.

In PCB Designer Professional, when i move the symbols, the ratsnests are reconnected only after the symbol are placed. There is a way to reconnect the ratnests to the near points but during move symbols ?

Thanks for any answer to this question, Gianni.

Use Edit - Move and then uncheck the box for "stretch etch"

You could use this keyboard alias for the space bar to "drop and pickup" the component during move to refresh the rats displayed:

    Funckey “ “ “pick_to_grid –cursor;pick_to_grid -cursor” # use spacebar to minimise connections

Steve thank you, but your suggestion not solve the question.

Oldmouldy, thank you very much for reply and for informations. Now i have the funckey in the env file. But not work ! Maybe i not understand well the command.

The connections are minimized only when i pick to end position. When i move the symbol, the connections are attached at start point, using space bar no change are made, only when i pick to the final position, the connections are minimized.

In pads, cadstar, altium, when move component, the connections are immediately connected to the near point available ! Why not possible in PCB Designer  ? :-((

Another request, for the Cadence Partner Channel !  Best regards, Gianni.

The feature you are after used to be called "RubberBanding" of nets in days of old. I don't believe Allegro has ever had that feature. The older layout tool does have it and it works great. Certainly a good feature request to have implemented in the next cut of Allegro. Scott.
