one symbol, multiple footprints

I have a resistor symbol set up to use a through hole footprint.

If I want that to be SMT, I have to manually type that smt name instead? It would be nice if I could assign a few different footprints, to my resistor symbol, and then just select.

Am I missing a basic feature that exists?

    Yes ScottCad.

I might draw a schematic with 0603 resistors, then decide to use some 805s. It would be nice to just pull down and select between them.

The was it is now, we have 0603 symbols and 0805 symbols each linked to their footprint. If I change to 0805, I have to delete the 0603 in the schematic, and add it again as an 0805.

    Is there a better way?
