Place component by clicking it on circuit

Place new component by directly clicking on component, or group of components in circuit.

I've seen a video on youtube showing the same.

It automatically come to pointer in allegro.

Please help me with that.

Thanks.

I am having a hard time understanding the real question here.  Perhaps do you mean how do you copy by clicking?  Use the "ctrl" key and click -- it will copy whatever is clicked.  Use the "alt" key and clicking will move without dragging the component.

Let's say, I've new Board file and my schemetic is ready.

I've transfered the netlist to board,

Now when i click the placement edit. it shows all the components. Now i can place by searching the "Refdes".

    Considering above method 1.

Now i don't want to search the "Refdes" in allegro and place it, rather i want to place new component directly by clicking it in circuit/schemetic symbol from orcad capture.

So how to place component from orcad capture to allegro by just clicking in circuit symbol.

    Thanks.

You need Capture and PCB Editor running with the relevant files open. In PCB Editor, get the board into the view, Zoom>Fit, then Place>Manually and Hide, move to the Capture and left-click on a part, move the mouse cursor back to the PCB Editor window and the part will be attached to the mouse, left-click to place. This assumes that parts can be selected in Capture and Symbols can be selected in PCB Editor.
