"Thru Pin to Thru Via Spacing" Error?

Hi,

I read somewhere that using spacer holes like below is a wise way.

I am trying to put some via around the pad of my spacer footprint. However, I receive DRC errors (Thru Pin to Thru Via Spacing) when I place some via on my big pad

How can I create a symbol like above picture?

Thanks,

Hossein

I know it is a long time since the last post of thread. Anyway, I wanted to make an update for you.

I was making a mistake. First, I had used a pad as connect pin - not  mechanical - and I was trying to place Top & Bottom circles - according to the application note - on this pad!. which caused doubling on Top & Bottom Etch!. After careful reading of App note, I tried again and then it worked. I appreciate your great help and support steve

    Thanks again,

    Hossein
