PCB Editor 16.60: Changing the Default Template ?

Does anyone know where the default bord and/or symbol templates are stored?

It would be nice to be able to change these to my own preferences w/o having

to load a specific one that (of course) does not reside in the folder of choise...

Buy a lot more product than the largest Cadence customer and get your own preference engineered in instead of theirs. You can make your own BRD file and use this as the "starting point", Input Board for the front end tools, or Load Template in PCB Editor. There have been some settings for New Design under User Preferences, these will be active for File>New in PCB Editor. The advantage for a BRD based template is that you can set "every option" that does not require a netlist: colours, units, constraints, artwork and so on.
