Allegro's copy function, greyed out options (x/y Qty)

Hello all!

I am unable to adjust the X/Y Qty for the Copy function.

I'm sure you can see why I don't want to place 1500 units when I only need a few.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks,

     James Oldiges Esq.

    This is all about a GUI how-to that's existed for years.

    There are two methods -- now Allegro has elected to implement both.

    1)  ACTION->OBJECT

    First the action is selected.  Second the object is selected.  Example: Move;  Select object to move

    2) OBJECT->ACTION

    First select the object.  Second select the action to act on the object.

    This is what has happened to you.  You selected an object and now you should select an action.  Unfortunately Allegro doesn't offer the same options as they do from ACTION->OBJECT.

    When you select outside the object you are in effect delselecting everything which allows you to return to ACTION->OBJECT mode.

    Hope this helps!
