Surface Mount Pad/Package Appearing on Top and Bottom

Hi All,

I got a board I designed back from fab and found two of the packages appear on both the top and bottom layer. It definitely didn't get placed on the bottom as well since the footprints are mirrored. They are also not electrically connected (except for the ground pads which are connected to the copper pour so that makes sense). I exported gerbers follwing the OSHPark Guidlines and according to gerbv and an online gerber viewer there should be no pads on the bottom layer. Anybody know what could cause this?

Thanks

Check the artwork films carefully. Open Manufacture - Artwork then select the TOP film and right click - Display for Visibility, this sets the screen to show the TOP artwork. Repeat for the BOTTOM film as well. You may have "additional" layers as part of the film. If that doesn't help check the Padstack definition and confirm that the padstack is indeed a SM pad (make sure there is no pad defined for TOP and BOTTOM layers. Should have Single layer mode enabled.
