Artwork (under Manufacture) does not work

After trying many times to generate artwork files, clicking the Artwork (under Manufacture) does not pop up any window anymore. Everything else works as usual. Is it locked by some files? Thanks.

It is not locked by any files.  But what you can do is to remove the geometry files in your Allegro home directory ($HOME environment variable).

These will be restored upon restart of Allegro.

Thanks for reply. What do you mean by geometry files? I am using windows version Cadence Allegro, which is under the directory of "Cadence\SPB_16.5\tools\pcb\bin". Would you mind to tell me the specific file name that I should remove for windows version?

Look for the *.geo files in the same directory where your ENV file is located.

    Where your ENV is:

Type in the CMD prompt of Allegro:  'set'

then a window pops-up. look for the "set allegro_pcbenv ="  line.

These .geo files store the window locations. Sometimes these locations are bad, and you can't see the window. Just delete the file(s), they are automatically generated.
