Hello All,

I am trying to model a connector with a complex footprint, attached. There are 2 rows of pins, however the top and bottom pins correspond to the same pin numbers.

For instance, here, the leftmost pins on the top and bottom both correspond to pin 1, the next pin 2, etc.

How can I have multiple pins with the same number in Allegro?

You cannot have duplicated Pin Numbers on the footprint, so name the pins, "something like" A1, A2... and B1, B2... the create a schematic symbol to match and wire it up with common connections. Even so, you probably don't want to rely on connections being made through the connector, rather than on the PCB.
