Increase Pad size in one direction

Hello,

I was wondering if there is an option to increase the pad size of a QFP component in one direction. I mean if I can increase the height or width of a pad from one edge not both edges.

suppose this is a pad of size 60 mil width           |-------------|

I want to increase the width this way, from one of its edge                    |------------------|

                                                                       not this way                               |------------------|

Any help is appreciated.

Thank you.

You need to use the Offset (X or Y) in Pad Designer, that will allow the pad center, where it is placed, to moved around the pad. If it's the width that you need to offset, use the Offset X setting for the horizontal pads, you will probably need to experiment a little to get exactly what you want, Tools>Padstack>Modify Design Padstack within the Package Symbol, or Board, is the way to experiment because you can make local edits and get them applied to Pin Instances (Use Instance in Options), rather than use the Pad Designer stand alone to make library edits and then update the Padstacks.
