Centering diff_pairs

Hi All:

Does anyone have a good way to center diff_pair between connector pins ?

I have tried the gloss routine, no luck.

Thanks,

Les

    Hi Les,

You can use "spread between voids" (Route > Resize/Respace > Spread Between Voids) for centering between pins.    It works on diff pairs and single ended nets as well.  Just start the command, select the active subclass to perform the centering and select two pins to define the channel.  You also define the extra spacing to the plane void from the Options Tab.

    Hope this helps,
    Mike Catrambone

Thanks Mike, we wish you could window around trace segments to be centered.

    Les,

File a service request (create a case) for this. I've file one earlier this year to be able to select just 2 points. The more people that ask the better chance it will be implemented.

    Regards,

    Craig
