How to add multiple pins in a group of constraint

Hi all,

In one of our board, for a SRAM group which having series resistor's as terminators, for delay tuning, I wanted to add the traces from FPGA to resistor and from resistor to SRAM in a group to match its total length. But I'm unable to add the traces of before and after resistor in same group. Attached a screenshot as an example, in which MG4 is a match group and N19926395 is trace from FPGA to R and SRAM_A5 is trace from R to SRAM IC. I wanted to add both nets in same group which showing total length. How can I do it and for the whole group(A0 to A16)? Any other way? Any input will be appreciated.

Tool using: OrCAD PCB Designer Professional v16.6 with hotfix s055

Thank you,

Shiva.

If I have understood you correctly Instead of putting the complete net in try hover over the net and right click - create - pin pair, then choose the start and end value. Once you have the two pin pairs shift click them so they highlight then right click over one of them and choose create - match group. This way you should be able to add both sides of the resistor into the group.

Thanks steve for your kind reply. I got the answer at "Total Etch Length" section rather than "Relative Propagation Delay" section. In Total Etch Length section, it shows total length of the net which includes trace length of before and after resistor, which really I wanted.

I have another doubt as how can we attach the constraint window (the one which shows in bottom right corner of the attached image) to mouse pointer? Any settings to be done? So it will help us to speed up the activity and no need to see bottom right corner every time.

    Thanks

uncheck the allegro_dynam_timing_fixedpos from user preferences. Setup-User preferences
