Capture & PCB Editor getting too too slow, while opening application?

Hi..

Just upgraded my win 7 to win 10. Both OrCad PCB Editor and OrCad capture are running extremely too too slow. I get to irritating while opening application.

It take about 5 minutes for the software to come up, and then every command take at 50 seconds.

Now i am using OrCAD 16.3.I t had very efficiently worked on Win 7, after updation to Win 10, it seems very very slow.

Whether OrCAD 16.3 will run on Win 10?

I have looked at task manager, the CPU usage goes up to about 99% and stays that high even after I close OrCad.

Whether I should reinstall the software ? How can I solve the problem?

Any Idea why this is happening before I go back to win 7?

Appreciate your help.

I'm surprised it even works. 16.3 came out in 2009 so Windows 10 wasn't available then. It's certainly not supported to run on that OS. You could make sure you have the latest 16.3 hotfix and if that doesn't help then you may need to go back to Win 7....
