routing thru pins with no nets.

Why can I route thru a pin with no net and not get a drc error ?

    Is this a hole with no pad ? You might not have all the DRC modes enabled. Try from Constraint Manager Analyze - Analysis Modes - Spacing Modes then look at the List. Are all the boxes checked or are some grey. If they are grey expand each one and make sure the hole to checks are enabled. These aren't by default because in normal circumstances the hole is contained within a pad so the pad to checks pick up most DRC's.

    Try this: edit the pad and turn off "Mech pins use antipads as Route Keepout"
