Batch edit properties of a library?

Is there any way to bring up the table/spreadsheet of all the parts in a library to perform batch edits? Similar to when editing a schematic, how you can select a bunch of components and right click -> edit properties? (photo below for reference).

I can't find a way, but I feel like it has to be there.

For instance, If I wanted to add a new property to all components in my custom library, would I have to go through each component individually?

James, it looks like you're working with Capture or the OrCAD chain of tools.  If so, then I'm not sure if this is of any help.  If you are on HDL, the PTF files can be edited, you can even open that up in a spreadsheet tool using special characters as the delimiter.  I don't know if the libraries in OrCAD are created similarly, but I thought they were at some level.  Sorry if that doesn't help.

This screenshot is from a schematic since library parts won't have any X / Y co-ordinates but, in any case, Tools>Export Properties and Tools>Import Properties can do this. The EXP file created is tab delimited text with a "design source" header, temporarily remove this line and then the text can be passed to a spreadsheet, like Excel, column headers and property values added, saved as tab delimited text again, add the "source" line back in and Import. If you are using standard parts and an ERP system, Capture CIS offers a much better solution than manipulating properties in schematic libraries.

Thanks a lot, that's exactly what I needed. You're right, it was from a schematic - I was trying to show I wanted to get the properties in table form for batch editing. Anyway, thanks a lot.
