I have edited and kept the file name 0402.dra in my custom library folder.

path  is  PSM

If i place the component , it gives the following error

                          Cannot load symbol '0402'

Please help to find the error.

Thanks

Prem

Your design is looking for 0402.psm (not 0402.dra). Compile the symbol and put the resultant psm in your psm path.

Just a thought.  Open the part in you library and do a Save as on the part, using the same name.

    Good luck,

    Ken

Under User Preferences, Paths, Library, padpath make sure you have your padpath list include the path where the padstack is located.
