down conversion problem in cadence 17.0

how to down conversion from cadence 17.0 to cadence 16.6 i have try but i get error massage "down rev of 17.0 databases to 16.6 is not supported please help me any one

    No, the message is accurate, it has never been possible to downrev PCB Editor board databases across major versions. Downrev of one, or two, minor versions, depending upon availability of those versions, is possible.

    Would it be possible to take a 17.x and have it translated into a different tool Mentor/Zuken...) then translated into 16.x?

    I bet Elgris could do this at a price.
