In Library Builder once you have defined the symbol graphics if you right-click - Edit Symbol Properties you can then add the properties for Manufacturer, Part Number etc. In Capture if you have the library open try Options - Part Properties then click on New, if you have the design open simply double click the part in question and the Property Editor will open, click on New Property to add. CIS gives you a great way to add all the properties to a windows compliant ODBC database so you don't need to add this stuff on a part by part basis. If you use CIP then all this data can be extracted directly from online distributors like DigiKey, Farnell, Mouser.

There are some details here parallel-systems.co.uk/orcadcip  or talk to whoever you bought the software from. They can arrange a demo / let you know pricing.
