PCB editor assign color is dark

i'm using PCB Editor. i usually like shadow toggle mode for editing. however, it is dark if i assign color on the trace or shape. in other BRD file, it can be shining on the same action. i can't find related setting. how can i set it to be shinning when shadow toggle mode?

    1. Check your Color Settings, Display - Color Visibility - Display folder (or tab in 17.2). Temp Highlight color may be set to black.

No, i have set it on correct color, but it is dark color. for example, i set temp highlight color in white. when i assign color on trace, it become dark white when shadow toggle mode. in other word, assign color doesn't hilight. see below capture.

    shinning when shadow toggle mode.

    dark when shadow toggle mode.

Hi, Can you check your Options tab.  Is "Dim color assignments" enabled?  If so, that may be causing the display issue.

    Hope this helps,
    Mike Catrambone
