Capture license pinging

Does anyone have know how frequently Capture checks for a license? We recently had our working directory and licenses setup remotely and are having massive slow downs. I've tried saving locally but it really doesn't seem to help much. I believe Capture frequently checks for a license but I'm not sure.

I think it depends on what you are doing. If you are using a command that requires a specific license, then it checks on the command, if you are just moving parts around and cleaning up wires, then I don't think it is pinging the license server. That's been my experience. If you can't figure it out, then try using tools like Wireshark or something, which can sort and filter out specific commands and communications to specific addresses.
