Netgroup issues

Capture has decided to delete many of the ports I have for some reason:

Recreating all the lost netgroups is extremely time consuming and this is an issue I have encountered a few times now. I want to avoid this and understand why it keeps happening. 
Seems like a bug to me. Anyone else encountered this issue and know of a good way to fix it or add the netgroup port again?

    I've seen this when you use a Netgroup Block and when you change the Port Type (input to bidirectional for example) so you should follow this up with a support request with Cadence online support or the channel partner you use. Alternatively instead of using Netgroup Blocks just draw the netgroup as you would a bus. There's a video that shows this:- www.youtube.com/watch;t=194s
