Getting started

I've been looking and can't find a "Getting Started" guide. Particularly, I'm looking for how I can set up, edit a use footprint libraries. I was able to find the library tool for Capture, but not for PCB Editor. I'm using Allegro 17.

There's not a real "Getting Started" guide but the actual manual. Under Help->Documentation, open the Allegro User guide and there is a section dedicated to library development. Also, some YouTube vids exist as well as some guides floating around the web...

There are several tutorials originally created for University students that can be found on the internet. Some of them are a bit old, some fairly new. They do a good job intruducing the software and the basic flow. Most of them are written for version 16.x but they can be used as introductions.
