BOM_IGNORE property in Capture not passing to reports in PCB Editor??

I define two resistors with values of bom ignore... in two different ways.

I regenerate my netlist..

it automatically opens my board, so I generate a report with the BOM_IGNORE property.. and nada.

Clearly this simple concept is far beyond my level of competence...

Edit: version 16.6

    go to:
    C:\Cadence\SPB_16.6\tools\capture\allegro.cfg

    add BOM_IGNORE property in allegro.cfg

    [ComponentInstanceProps]
    GROUP=YES
    .
    .
    .
    BOM_IGNORE=YES

    Create Netlist > PCB Editor tab;
    check Allow User Defined Property

    export/import netlist as you would normally.

    in PCB Designer reports, you will find BOM_IGNORE under new/edit > Properties tab

    Keep it crufty,
    Kevin
