Need help deleting a differential pair

Using OrCAD PCB Editor 16.6-2015

I'm trying to delete a differential pair, but getting very odd behavior. In Constraint Manager, I find the pair in Net->Routing->Differential Pair. I right-click on the pair name and choose Delete. The pair is then deleted, but also the tool decides to auto-generate edge-to-edge etch shapes on every layer of my board!. My board outline also disappears at this time.

What is going on here?

Sorry, I can't share the design. And my host id doesn't seem to be valid when trying to contact Cadence support. I guess I'm on my own for this one.

Just going to press on with using derive connectivity and hope I find the root problem at some point.
