Exporting Gerber layers as DXF files

This there a simple way to export all of the Gerber layers as DXF files? Using the Export -> MCAD -> DXF for each layer is extremely tedious.

Would it be acceptable to have everything in one DXF file, but on different DXF layers?  You would need to set-up your Layer Conversion file to mimic your artwork films, and just assign each to a different DXF layer name.  Then, when you open the DXF in your MCAD tool of choice, you have them all in one file and can show/hide whichever layer you would like to see and/or use.
