How do I rotate a component to 24deg ? (Using version 16.6), seems to be stuck in a multiple of 45deg mode, so do I need a different version of Allegro?

    Hello,

After you select your part to spin (rotate), note the option window "angle' just type 24 and hit return. This angle setting will stay put until you type something else..

    Cheers

I'm trying to rotate (spin) and window "angle" doesen't appear. I already trying to reboot and reinstall, but as result same error. Can you post guide in style - "click here" and "click here" to do something.

This is very straight forward. Invoke the command Edit - Spin (or Edit - Rotate if you are using the OrCAD products 17.2) and then look at the Options Pane (dockable window on the right hand side). The Angle value is there, you can either select one of the pre-set values 0,45,90 etc. or click in the value box and type the required angle, you have different behaviours for Type and Point (origin) but then click on the part you wish to Rotate and it will rotate based around whatever point you chose. OrCAD - It's that easy :-)
