In Allegro 17.2 and previous versions,

In the "CONNECTOR" Library of the OrCAD software,

the Pin4 and Pin6 positions of the "CON18A" component symbols are wrong.

Will this problem be fixed in later releases?

Yes it is and I'll report this to Online support but it may be quicker if you edit and resave the part yourself. Remember these are only sample provided libraries so you should check all of them for form, fit and function anyway...

Thank you, but this problem still exists in the latest 17.2-2016-S027 hotfix, which doesn't seem to fix the bug.

This is why I never EVER use vendor-supplied libraries, other than treat them as learning resources.

    Agreed.

NEVER use any library parts without thoroughly reviewing and modifying first. From any source - CAD Vendor, Component Vendor, 3rd Party Library Vendor.
