How to Reorder a Component's Part Properties (Property Editor) in OrCAD CIS 17.2

Hi,

In previous versions of OrCAD Schematic Capture, upon double-clicking on any component, one could manually change the order of any attribute simply by using the mouse and dragging that parameter to a new location within the properties column.  Now when I attempt to do the same thing, the attribute (say Tolerance...an attribute I created) will not move.  It starts to move to the new location, but stays right where it started.

Did something change in 17.2?  I even copied an old prefprop.txt file from my OrCAD 16.2, but it will not change the order of the component properties no matter what I do.

So what is happening here?  Is there another way in 17.2 that did not exist in previous versions?  I have noticed that version 17.2 has another location for the prefprop.txt file.  The one I initially edited was the wrong on which was in the c:\cadence\SPB 17.2\tools\capture directory which is where they have been previously.  Now they are in the C:\SPB_Data\cdssetup\OrCAD_Capture\17.2.0 directory.  However, how does one change this other than the usually manual entry?

I have a similar problem. It's very annoying not to be able to reorder the column positions. I looked up how to create my own filter, and that got me close. I could eliminate the columns I didn't need.

Hover over the words in the column title.  When you hold down the select button, you will see a small horizontal rectangle show up.
Holding select, move the mouse horizontally.

Notice the black vertical line turns red as you move the mouse, showing the new destination.
