Purpose of "Plan" class

I've searched through the documentation for PCB editor but can't find any information on the "Plan" class. Can anyone point me to the documentation or provide a description of this class? My intuition says it is for generic PCB floor planning.

    Hi,

The Plan class is where route bundles (Collections of pin to pin connections) are stored which assist in the planning of routed interfaces in the design. It also provides some enhanced functionality to interactively route the design.  Bundles are used in many areas of the PCB Editor so performing a search on the Cadence support web site for "Interconnect Flow Planner", "Design Planning Option" and "Auto-Interactive Breakout" you will find documentation and videos describing how the Plan class is used.  The Videos are probably a good place to start.

    Hope this helps,
    Mike Catrambone
