Hi  sir,

My project report lots of DRC about external rule.

I do not set any rule about external and I do not familiar with it.

I search it in HELP Document but i can not fix it.

How can i fix it or any thing I did it wrong by mistake?

Thanks.

Those DRCs which do not come under Electrical, Physical domains etc come under External Domain.

In the image, it has been created rule related to DFA, Annual Ring Size less than minimum allowed value of 6

An externally defined DRC marker always has the two characters "X D" in it.

It can be created using Allegro SKILL using function  axlDBCreateExternalDRC or using RAVEL rules

An example of creating DRC using Allegro SKILL

axlDBCreateExternalDRC('("My Spacing Line to Pin" "12" "Cadence") 1500:2000 "top", nil nil "10 MILS")

    Adds "X D" DRC markers at (1500 1800) and (1500 1900).

How did you get this DRC?

Thanks Kirti Sikri, I got your point.

Actually I do not familiar with SKill program and I never use it to set external rule.

I am not sure how they comes.

Can you teach me how to find the seting file or how to eliminate it?
